Youth Program

Girls Empowered and Strong Program (GES) is a program for teenage girls who want to address issues they are facing and become empowered to make strong and positive choices for themselves and their futures.

The goal of this program is to provide girls, ages 12 to 17, with the skills and knowledge they need in order to make healthy life choices, thereby preventing future involvement in the criminal legal system. Youth Program addresses the realities that teen girls face in their daily lives. The program is FASD friendly and is designed to be able to meet the unique needs of girls with this diagnosis while building emotional, intrapersonal, and interpersonal skills for all girls.

Program workshops address topics such as identity, healthy relationships, self-esteem, self-care and coping, emotional management, body-image/confidence, healthy sexuality, communication, shoplifting, peer pressure and other important issues.

Our program can be flexible, both in its content and its location. Please contact us to inquire about any of the following components of the Youth program:

Girls Groups – An 8-10 session program run in schools, group homes, in the community etc.
